Sign in, create a matter, record the jurisdiction and explain what happened. S.A.G.E. Legal works from that supplied context with personal or professional preparation and the perspective of a plaintiff, defendant or person exploring their options. Professional mode changes the preparation style; it does not verify credentials or establish an engagement.

A conversation with a record behind it.

The assistant uses OpenAI GPT-OSS 120B hosted by Groq. Eight guided workflows support a case brief, opposing positions, evidence gaps, chronology, document review, contract review, witness questions and consultation preparation. These are original STATIC workflows informed by a review of publicly documented legal product patterns.

Before an AI request, the owner explicitly authorizes the shortened brief, recent conversation and up to three selected excerpts to be sent to Groq. The saved response records the context versions and excerpts. Source panels refer to supplied sources, and proposed quoted passages must match the supplied excerpt. The findings remain AI drafts that need review.

A suggested record opens an editable form. It becomes part of the matter only when the owner saves it. Free pilot limits are six turns per account per UTC day, twenty shared turns and one shared request per minute. Limits pause AI without activating a paid provider or tool fallback.

MatterOS keeps pleadings, precedents, statutes, depositions, contracts, witnesses, communications, issues, risk and recorded deadlines. Matter Map reflects actual active records and explicit links. The evidence matrix, citation ledger and recorded chronology expose the supplied context and the gaps that still need attention.

ContractOS keeps the working text, obligations, questions and recent versions together. Restoring earlier text creates a new version. A reported professional review is attached to the exact version the owner identified, with the reported name, credential, jurisdiction and date. STATIC does not independently verify that reviewer or review.

Official research, court, legal aid and referral resources provide starting points beyond the workspace. Source status, current applicability, court rules and professional availability require confirmation at the actual source.

Private matter records can be exported as JSON, a printable working report or a calendar of recorded dates. Trash is reversible; permanent deletion requires an exact typed confirmation. The guide explains capacity, retained history, account deletion and the limits of exported copies.
