The source, the context and the correction remain visible.
The source stays attached
Each linked report identifies its publisher and opens the original source. Official institutional sources, aggregated reporting, licensed syndication and STATIC originals are distinct. An official source describes that institution’s position; it is not independent corroboration.
Time labels mean what they say
Published means a publisher-provided publication time. Monitored means the time supplied by the discovery monitor. A monitored timestamp does not establish when the publisher first released or last corrected an article. Undated official directories stay undated.
Compare coverage without inventing certainty
Coverage links make other reporting easy to inspect. Different headlines, source countries or numbers of stories do not establish which claim is true. Original publishers retain responsibility for their reporting; STATIC remains responsible for its own labels, source links and presentation.
Make material repairs visible
A published correction identifies the affected material, the error, the repair and the date. Updates add information; corrections repair an error. Withdrawals identify material removed from STATIC. A source publisher’s correction is distinct from a correction to STATIC’s own presentation.
Separate reporting from commercial influence
Opinion, analysis and sponsored material carry distinct labels. Payment does not buy an editorial conclusion. STATIC Spotlight is a separate sponsored-media relationship; sponsorship must remain visible wherever that material appears.
Preserve media context
Live, recorded and unavailable broadcasts have different states. Players retain the original provider and source link. Images, quotations and media require attribution and appropriate rights. Synthetic or reconstructed journalistic media must distinguish documented facts from generated, inferred or unknown elements.
Keep the reader in control
Saved reports, follows, reading history and the alert preference are stored in the reader’s browser. Third-party source pages and embedded players have their own privacy practices. Search and comparison do not require readers to accept a hidden claim of endorsement.
