SPORT & CULTURE · OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
STATIC Sports opens. The game. Your call.
A new place for the game
STATIC Sports is now open with selected scores, original editorial picks, official league highlights and free competitions. Its first board brings together verified NFL and NBA fixtures, recent results and NBA and MLB highlights.
The experience is built for fans who want to follow the action, make their own calls and compete with friends. Browsing is open; saved participation uses an existing STATIC account or direct email signup. A Network membership and public Social profile are not required.
Put the call on the record
Our Picks publishes original winner predictions with a reason and a timestamp before kickoff. Verified results record correct and incorrect calls. No guaranteed outcome or implied model accuracy is claimed.
Players can save their own independent winner predictions before each game locks. Correct winners earn three points. Ties and void games earn zero. These are free predictions with no entry fees, cash prizes, deposits, withdrawals or wagers.
Draft three teams. Choose a captain.
Team Fantasy gives players a three-team roster from three different games in a published round. The captain doubles that team’s points. Wins, ties and capped winning-margin bonuses determine the score. Individual player statistics are not scored in this format.
The entire roster locks at the round’s first game. Private leagues use expiring invitation codes. Chosen Sports names and standings are shared within the league; public community rankings are a separate opt-in.
Earn the digital glory
A first correct call, a perfect prediction card and a roster sweep can earn digital trophies. League championship trophies require at least two eligible submitted rosters, and tied leaders share the title.
Trophies have no cash value. Postponed and canceled games are void for competition. Verified result corrections can change standings and trophies.
Scores and moments, with clear sources
The opening board uses selected, sourced results and schedules with a checked time. The owner desk can update these records and connect the documented free BALLDONTLIE Games feed with a free provider account and API key. Automatic scores are not presented as connected until that key is activated. Coverage is selected and updates are best effort.
Official highlights use the original YouTube player after the visitor chooses a video, with source links retained for regional or publisher restrictions. Game recordings are not downloaded or rehosted. This release provides no rights to full-game broadcasts.
Free today, with clear boundaries
The owner desk supports sourced score updates, future fantasy rounds, immutable pregame editorial picks and verified official highlights. Users can export their own Sports records or delete Sports data; deleting Sports data also disbands leagues they own while leaving the shared email account available.
Paid contests and betting are outside the current release. No payment provider, paid sports feed or subscription is activated by this launch.
