Tell the story.
Keep the details.
Start a private matter with the situation, your goals and its jurisdiction. Then add the information you have: pleadings, precedents, statutes, deposition notes, contracts, witnesses, communications, issues, risks and dates.
Personal and professional modes change the preparation context. You can describe your position as plaintiff, defendant or other. They do not establish anyone’s credentials, retain a lawyer or change the legal status of a draft.
STATIC Legal organizes records and prepares AI drafts. It does not provide representation, file documents, sign agreements or create an attorney-client relationship. Arrange professional advice and urgent legal action separately.
A second perspective.
Your judgment.
Choose a preparation workflow, ask a question and select up to three records. Before each request, consent to sending your question, matter context and the selected record excerpts to Groq. Choose only the records you authorize. The saved response shows the exact excerpts and record versions used.
The live model is openai/gpt-oss-120b through Groq. Each account has six AI requests per UTC day. STATIC Legal shares twenty turns per UTC day, with one shared request per minute. Availability depends on that allowance and the provider; there is no paid fallback.
Eight workflows help prepare a matter brief, compare both sides, find evidence gaps, build a chronology, review documents or contract terms, prepare witness questions and organize a consultation. Responses remain AI drafts. Review suggestions before adding them to your record.
Keep the basis
beside the claim.
Source citations in an AI response can refer only to the supplied record context. Displayed quotations must match that context exactly. These checks do not establish whether a statement is true, whether an authority is current or whether it applies to your matter.
The source ledger preserves the title, URL, citation, jurisdiction, access date and source type that you record. S.A.G.E. does not verify current law or perform a live legal database search.
A recorded review is owner-reported and bound to a specific record version. Reviewer names, credentials and review statements are not verified by STATIC. Editing a record does not carry that review forward as approval of the new version.
Dates come from the information you enter. Record their source or basis and verification state. The workspace does not calculate court deadlines or determine filing requirements.

Your private workspace.
Your matters are private to your signed-in account. The service stores the record so you can return to it. It is not end-to-end encrypted, and using it does not establish legal privilege. Add only information you are authorized to hold and send.
AI preparation sends the selected context to Groq with your explicit consent. Groq says inference inputs and outputs are not retained by default, with exceptions for system reliability and abuse investigations; those logs may be kept for up to thirty days, or longer when legally required. Usage metadata is retained. STATIC does not claim Zero Data Retention is enabled.

Clear limits.
Imports accept plain text for review before saving. This is a text-based workspace, not an original-file evidence vault. Keep original documents somewhere you control.
Prepared here.
Kept by you.
Export your matter as JSON with conversations, full retained record history and the latest 100 activity entries. Download a printable report or an ICS calendar of recorded dates from non-archived records that are not marked complete. A calendar export carries your recorded dates; it does not verify deadlines.
Trash is reversible until permanent deletion. To permanently delete a matter and its associated records, links, reviews, activity and conversations, type DELETE MATTER when prompted. Deleting your STATIC account also deletes its Legal data. Copies you downloaded remain under your control.
A well-kept record makes the next conversation easier.
