STATIC Connect is here. Your people, a little closer.

STATIC Connect is now open on the STATIC Network. It brings everyday conversations into a cinematic home: direct messages, invited groups, supported photos, videos and files, recorded voice messages, and direct and group voice and video calls.
The new homepage entrance carries Connect’s city-at-dusk scene, graphite glass and cool blue accents into the network. Connect also earns a live image tile in the STATIC Index.
Public entry is free. Sign in with your STATIC email identity and confirmed profile to open private conversations. No phone number or network subscription is required. Find people using the STATIC ID they share with you.
A voice. A face. Your favorite people.
Open a conversation and choose Voice or Video. Incoming calls can be answered while Connect is open. Call controls include microphone and camera controls, camera switching, audio-playback recovery, and screen sharing in supported desktop browsers.
Groups begin with invitations that each person chooses to accept. Group calls bring joined participants into the conversation, with controls for leaving, managing the call and choosing a shared screen.
Check your call devices opens local microphone, camera, speaker and screen checks before a conversation. Device previews stay on the device, with explicit stop controls and permission-recovery guidance.
Private conversations, verified devices
Connect offers a verified private lane for end-to-end encrypted messages and files. People compare device codes through a separate trusted channel before sharing private content. Encrypted attachments are decrypted on the recipient’s verified device.
Verified calls preserve their private intent and connect after the joined devices are verified and exchange the required call keys. Membership changes require a fresh private exchange before media resumes. Standard conversations and calls remain distinct and use account access controls and encrypted connections.
Private history depends on the original device keys and delivery proof. A new device does not automatically unlock older private messages. Keep access to the device holding your private history.
Your conversations. Your control.
Connect includes conversation and safety controls, browser-specific notification preferences, and account-data controls. Supported notifications use generic alerts without names or message previews; opening the alert returns to Connect. Device settings, browser support and installation requirements govern availability.
Confirmed account deletion follows a reviewed, resumable plan. Other recipients keep their shared copies under Deleted member. Owned groups transfer only to an administrator who has accepted; otherwise they close. Existing retention or ownership holds require managed handling.
