Microphone permission is requested only when you press Start. Recording stops after three minutes, on page exit or account change. dBFS is a relative digital input level, not calibrated sound pressure. Browser audio format and device processing vary.

Support and permission vary. The tool stops at 1,200 readings. No random values or simulated sensor data are shown. Nearby wiring, electronics, metal and orientation affect readings; a magnetic change does not identify a supernatural cause.
