What this release covers

Support is STATIC’s causes and participation platform. The first release includes selected official programs in North Texas, across the United States, online and globally. It is free to explore and does not require a STATIC account. It is not the customer-service product; that is STATIC CX.

Program listings are editorial handoffs, not a live schedule or a promise of a vacancy. Requirements, screening, training, accepted goods, accessibility and possible costs belong to the organization and must be confirmed on its official site.

Find and save an action

  1. Open /support and search for a cause, organization, skill or location. Combine the cause, location and action filters; reset them to widen the results.
  2. Open an action to read its operator, requirements and next steps. Organization profiles link to official websites and reporting sources.
  3. Select Save this action or the bookmark control to save an action on this browser. Find it under Your impact. Saving does not apply, register or contact the organization.
  4. Use Open official action to continue in a new tab. Sign up or arrange participation directly with the organization.

Keep a personal participation record

A participation record is not a payment or tax receipt. STATIC Support does not accept donations or issue tax documentation. Official payment records belong to the responsible organization or payment provider.

Use Remove record to delete an entry. Undo is available for the last removal or import until another change or reload.

  1. After you take part, return to the action page.
  2. Enter the action date, optional hours for time or skills work, and an optional note of up to 500 characters. Leave out sensitive personal information.
  3. Choose Record my participation. Your journal identifies the entry as self-reported and unverified.
  4. Use the organization’s reports and updates link to follow its wider work. Those reports do not verify your contribution or establish that you caused a particular result.

Where your journal is saved

Saved actions and participation records use this browser’s local storage. They persist across reloads when storage is available, but do not sync to a STATIC account or other devices. Anyone using this browser may see them. Signing out of STATIC does not erase browser-local records. Clearing site data removes the journal.

If browser storage is unavailable, the app shows a notice and changes last only while the page remains open. Export before leaving. An empty or invalid stored journal recovers to an empty journal.

Limits are 100 saved actions, 200 participation records and a 100 KB export. When full, export a backup before removing older records.

Export and import a backup

Malformed, unsupported and oversized backups are rejected without changing your current journal. Only the documented journal fields and actions still present in the current catalog are retained. The import preview shows what will remain.

  1. Under Your impact, choose Export journal to download a JSON file. Keep it private.
  2. On the destination browser, choose Import journal and select the file.
  3. Review the saved-action and participation counts. Export the current journal first if you need to keep it.
  4. Choose Replace with this import to replace this browser’s journal, or Cancel import. A valid empty backup also replaces the journal with an empty one.

Source checks, reporting and future work

A checked source means the official website or indexed official content was reviewed. It is not accreditation, a STATIC partnership, guaranteed live availability or a verified outcome. Historical reports keep their date context. If a page has moved, consult the organization’s official website.

This first release does not include cloud account journals, direct organization submissions, AI recommendations, donations, provider-verified Impact Receipts or automatic outcome updates. It does not represent external humanitarian work as a STATIC Relief operation.
