OFFICIAL STATIC HELP
STATIC Family
Create a private household, share plans and choose who can see each record.

- Explore the clearly labeled fictional demonstration at /family. Choose Start your household to sign up or sign in with a confirmed email. A separate Network profile or subscription is not needed for household planning.
- An organizer confirms they are at least 18, names the household and chooses its time zone. Each person uses their own access. Invitations are single-use links with an expiry. Send a link privately to the person you intend to invite.
- Organizers and guardians can add managed child, dependent and pet profiles. Teen account access requires an age-13-or-older confirmation and a guardian-approved invitation. Younger children use a managed profile rather than an independent Family login.
Choose what people can see
A household role and an item’s audience both matter. Private records belong to their author. Adults-only records are visible to adult roles. Selected sharing limits a record to the people chosen. Guests see only records explicitly shared with them.
An organizer does not gain access to private teen notes or private documents by organizing the household. Remove a member to revoke their household access; a linked Connect room must also have that member removed.
Plan the day and the week
- Add calendar events with start/end times, people and the household time zone. Daily, weekly and monthly repeats appear in the calendar. Use an existing event’s details to edit or remove it.
- Tasks have assignees, due dates and completion controls. A task that needs guardian approval waits for an eligible guardian. Routines have checkable steps. Repeating tasks and routines move to their next due period when completed or approved.
- Use Groceries for shared lists and store/category details. Add a recipe and its ingredients, link it to a meal date and send ingredients to your list. Sharing follows the source recipe.
- What Needs You and the notification panel show notices derived from the plans you can access. These notices update inside an open Family workspace; they are not a promise of background alarms.
Places and check-ins
Save a Place with its name, address and optional contact details. Directions can open STATIC Maps. Check-ins are manual statuses, shared with a chosen audience and an expiry within 24 hours.
Pause a check-in to stop sharing its location fields. Family does not automatically track a device or dispatch emergency help. Put emergency contacts and a household plan in records you explicitly share with the right people.
Documents and private notes
Create a document record, choose its audience, then attach a PDF, JPEG, PNG or WebP file up to 5 MB. The private vault is limited to 50 MB per household. Files are checked for format and access before serving; another household cannot open a vault file through its URL.
Notes, document descriptions and expiry dates are saved with the record. A file replacement requires removing the current attachment first. Record deletion withdraws access and removes its attached file.
Ask S.A.G.E. Family
Use a guided question for today, the week, conflicts, meal ingredients, a morning routine or a packing list. The coordinator reads only the household records your current role and sharing permissions allow.
Review a prepared suggestion before saving it. Suggestions start private; edit a saved item if you want to share it. No task, event, message or sharing change is silently performed.
Family Room through Connect
An adult organizer can set up or link a household conversation using STATIC Connect. Connect identity setup is explicit and shows its own display name and ID choices. Family does not publish a member’s profile automatically.
Connect invitations still require acceptance in Connect. Messages and calls stay in Connect; Family does not copy the conversation or call history into the household. Linked rooms are for eligible adult account holders in this release.
Removing an account from a linked household room must also remove its Connect group access. If that cannot be confirmed, retry the removal instead of assuming the conversation is private.
