## Find a place to charge

1. Open the finder, enter a city or ZIP code, choose a state if needed and search. Filter by listed connector, selected network or recorded fast-charging ports. Results are paginated; pins correspond to the current page of actual records.
2. Approximate location asks for browser permission only after you choose it. Coordinates are rounded to two decimal places before a station request. Nearby distances are straight-line distances, not driving routes.
3. Open a station to inspect recorded hours, access, restrictions, pricing, ports and source dates. Open STATIC Maps to examine the public location. Confirm the operator’s current conditions before travelling.

## Understand the station source

The public BTS service carries Alternative Fuels Data Center / NLR records. Charge currently queries public U.S. electric-vehicle stations marked operational by that directory. Source-update, station-confirmation and STATIC response-check dates describe different events. A missing field remains unreported.

Operational does not establish live plug availability, equipment uptime, present access, current pricing or vehicle compatibility. This release has no live occupancy feed. OpenStreetMap supplies map tiles and receives normal tile requests, including the viewed map area and IP address.

## Keep your private workspace

1. Sign in with your existing STATIC identity. Add vehicles, declared home or depot equipment, manual charging sessions and trip outlines. Saving a public station is a separate, deliberate action; browsing does not automatically save it.
2. For a session, supply its date and energy. An optional rate and fees produce an estimate; a separately entered paid amount remains owner-recorded. A blank rate means unknown, and an explicit zero is zero. Current cost fields use USD.
3. A trip is an ordered outline with up to ten public stops. It does not calculate battery range, optimize stops, establish arrival charge or begin navigation.

## Capacity, exports and changes

Current limits are 20 vehicles, 20 declared chargers, 300 manual sessions, 100 saved stations and 20 trips, with up to ten stops per trip and 8 MiB of text records and activity. Archived records still count. Up to 500 recent activity entries are retained; the most recent 100 are shown or exported.

Export JSON for the private working record or CSV for retained records, including archived entries. Calendar export includes the maintenance dates you entered for declared chargers. These files are personal working copies rather than operator receipts, certified measurements or reimbursement decisions.

Archive is reversible. Permanent deletion requires archiving first and typing DELETE RECORD. A vehicle or charger cannot be permanently removed while another record references it. Resetting Charge requires DELETE CHARGE DATA. Conflicting edits preserve your draft so you can review the latest record.

Your account’s privacy and deletion controls apply to server records. Downloaded copies remain under your control. Do not put charger credentials, payment details or sensitive personal material in ordinary record notes.

## Charging operations

Actual charging, access, tariffs and payments remain with the station operator. STATIC Charge currently provides discovery and private software records. It does not start or stop charging, reserve a plug, collect a charging payment, issue a roaming pass, operate physical stations or provide telemetry.

Home and Fleet describe ways to organize declared assets and records. They do not create a hardware integration, certified product, shared fleet-control account or partner relationship. Original vehicle and charger artwork is illustrative. Read the Charge guide for source, privacy and operating limits.
